Conservatory Piano Examinations:
6 students took examinations: Silvie Cheng, Jocelyn
Ma, Kate Zia, Grace Wong, Chris Wong, Andrew Wong
All were awarded First Class Honours with
Distinction (marks of 90 and above, the national average is around 75 marks)
Canadian
Music Competitions
4 students entered: Stephen Hung, Justina Li, Kevin
Liang, Samuel Tsang
All won the Regional Competition and advanced to
the Provincial Finals
Stephen Hung won the Provincial Finals and reached
the National Finals in Quebec City and placed national 2nd with an average mark
of 91 playing Piano Concerto by Kabalevsky.
