COURSE DESCRIPTION 課程簡介

This course teaches the foundation and practice of Christian ethics. The theory and historical development of ethics will be briefly introduced. The main emphasis is on the application of Biblical principles in solving problems related to personal and social ethical issues.

這課程教授基督教倫理學的基礎和實踐。簡單介紹倫理學的理論和歷史上之發展，課程的重心則為如何應用聖經的原則去解決個人倫理和社會倫理上的難題。

COURSE OBJECTIVES 課程目的

• To learn how to use the Bible to derive ethical principles.
  學習如何應用聖經去訂立倫理原則。
• To learn how Christians should make decisions on ethical issues.
  學習基督徒如何對倫理問題作抉擇。
• To learn how to analyze difficult cases using Biblical principles.
  學習如何應用聖經原則去分析困難的實例。
• To critique the weakness of ethical relativism.
  批評道德相對主義之弱點。

COURSE EVALUATION 作業及評核

Students will be evaluated through 4 components:
學生成績的評核根據四部份：

• Participation of discussions in class (10%)
  上課時參加討論（10分）
• A 30-minute Test on July 13 (10%)
  測驗（三十分鐘，在第二課內進行）（10分）
• Three Assignments (15% each, total 45%): to be submitted on July 20, July 27, and August 3
  三個短作業，在第三、四、五課內呈交（每個15分，共45分）
• Term Paper (35%), to be submitted one week after the last class
  學期報告，在課程完結後一星期呈交（35分）

The attendance policy will follow the official policy of the Tyndale Seminary.
